Quigley Wellner, a professional genealogist who specializes in Massachusetts
and New England research, this workshop focuses on your first steps in beginning
your own genealogical search.

| Celtic
Tree of Life |
A hands-on workshop that focuses on the Tree of Life, a motif
that runs throughout much of Celtic art history. This motif became predominant
in the Scottish Highlands from 1200 onward and was common on gravestones
and high crosses. Participants in the workshop learn methods of drawing
several simple variations on this motif, beginning with examples from the
Book of Kells and working up to examples from MacKinnon's Cross and the
Nerabolls Stones. Pencils and pens and paper will be provided. |

of Antrim, NH |
Led by Isabel Nichols, a
member of the Antrim Historical Society who was raised in Antrim where her
ancestry on both sides goes back to the 18th century. |
| Learn to
Play Tin Whistle |
An introductory hands-on workshop led by
Ryan Thomson (Captain Fiddle of Shake, Rattle and Bow), an accomplished
music instructor, author, and full time professional musician. Tin whistles
are required and can be purchased at the workshop.
