Johnson 44, 6 inch, German Silver Caliper Rule!

When I was young and fresh out of college I started a career as a Industrial Arts teacher. I had the golden opportunity, as a youngster, to work with many craftsman, one being my Dad. I developed an early fascination of hand tools and what they could do and as a teacher brought many examples of these tools from the past for the kids to observe and try “their hand” at. Needless to say after 30 years of collecting, trading and using, it is time for many of these examples to go away! Hopefully, soon, there will be additional pages of tools that will be available to new owners. The ones that I can part with immediately I list over Ebay as dtirrell@conknet.com, but the ones that I consider special to me are going to be reserved for this site. Parting with some of these tools is not as easy as kittens! Hopefully this site will always be under construction!

Some "interesting" sites:

www.berniervintage.com - My buddy Jim's website for British bike parts, old and new.
Phils' page has interesting geek stuff. Phil was a student of mine, more years ago than I want to admit! He has helped me immensely with my computer education and I thank him for all his patience.
