Fall Book Discussion

Join us for a lively discussion of three popular books that illuminate Islamic cultural and political ideals.

This series takes us beyond the hyperbole of headlines to meet, through

fiction and non-fiction, the people of the Middle East – the everyday lives of women

and men, the turmoil of nations in transition and sects at war.

We are challenged to discover human connections, even in those who deal in

purposeful terror, as we simultaneously see the sharp differences in traditions and culture.
