Welcome to Fuller Public Library
Hello! I'm Judy Fournier, the director of Project LIFT.

Project LIFT (Literacy for Today) Adult Education Program

Project LIFT offers free, confidential, one-to-one and small group instruction for Hillsboro, Antrim, Bennington, and Peterborough area adults who wish to improve their basic skills, learn English as a second language (ESL), or prepare for the high school equivalency exam (GED).

Volunteers from the community are recruited, trained, and matched with a student. The tutor and student work together to identify individual educational goals and to plan learning activities.

Instruction occurs at the libraries in Antrim, Bennington, Hillsboro, or Peterborough, or at another mutually agreed upon site. The tutoring schedule is designed to fit the needs of both the student and the tutor.

If you know of someone who would like to volunteer, or who needs help, please let them know about Project Lift. Call me, Judy Fournier, Director, at 464-5285, or email me at hillsboroadulted@hotmail.com for more information, or to schedule an appointment.

Registration is on-going. Call today, or stop by the library for a detailed pamphlet.

Good news!: The new NH adult education site is now available online for students/parents/anyone wanting more info. about GED/Adult Basic Ed./English as a Second Language and the areas in which services are provided. http://www.ed.state.nh.us/adulted
